Yes, our designs conform with the rules of golf. (Yes, they are USGA conforming.)
Our Lead Edge Roll face design imparts more forward roll on the golf ball, thereby starting and keeping your ball on your intended line longer. Also, because of the increased forward roll (vs sidespin, backspin, or skidding), Spoiler excels at enhancing distance control. Our Lead Edge Roll face also helps you literally become a better putter. If your stroke is inefficient, contact location is off, angle of attack is too steep, or your rhythm is too quick, Spoiler will give you immediate visual feedback. You can make minor adjustments, and truly get better and better at putting the more you roll with Spoiler.
The majority of players switch out their old putter with a new Spoiler Golf design with no issue. Like gaming any new club, it can take a few rolls to get accustomed to the new, pure roll of Spoiler. Because the Leading Edge design, some simple putting changes can help you experience the purest roll in golf, if necessary: - Maybe the ball is too far back in your stance. Move the ball more forward in your stance (off your front heel) so your putting stroke rolls the golf ball as the putting stroke begins to ascend. - Slow down your transition in your putting stroke. Too quick a change in transition can lead to a change in angle of attack of the putter, or getting too "scoopy" with the putter. - Focus on hitting the equator of the golf ball. That is the purest motion you can make with any putter!
Yes, The Spoiler is perfect for all skill levels. If you’re a great putter, you get the advantage of pure roll with Spoiler. If you are new or a high-handicapper, the putter provides immediate, visual feedback to help you literally become a better putter. As you dial in your stroke, you also gain the advantage of a purer roll than a traditional “flat face” putter.
The Spoiler creates a purer, forward roll on the golf ball. Most traditional putters either launch the ball in the air or drive it into the turf creating hopping and skipping to start the putt. However, The Spoiler design with Lead Edge Roll face technology and 0 degrees of loft, gets the ball rolling sooner. You can actually feel, see, and hear the difference when you roll with Spoiler.
When you roll the ball poorly, a traditional “flat face” putter doesn’t give you much feedback. In fact, it actually hides your mistakes and applies undesirable spin to your golf ball. Spoiler OG, however, provides immediate feedback on all your putts. You can feel and see when you’ve put a pure roll on the golf ball, and when you have not. When you do not roll the golf ball as well as you think you should have (usually due to impact location on the golf ball, or angle of attack) The Spoiler will make the ball jump a bit as the putt starts. If you notice the ball popping in the air, the main variables to adjust are: - You are hitting too steeply down on the golf ball. - You could either have the ball too far back in your stance, or your putting stroke is too steep into the ball. - We recommend playing the ball forward in your stance, near your lead heel. This will help improve proper impact, and help you roll the ball just as you start the upward motion of your putting stroke. - You are hitting too high up on the ball, impacting the ball above the equator. You will squeeze the ball into the turf, thus making it pop up a bit. - You could have the ball too far forward in your stance, or are hitting too much up on the ball. - You should focus on hitting through the golf ball, versus up on the ball.
Spoiler Golf putter weights cannot be changed at this time. Trying to adjust your weights on your own voids the warranty.
